"Our mission is to promote responsible firearms ownership, use, and to provide the opportunity to learn and practice a variety of shooting skills."

- Clint Simon, Match Director\

Monthly Shooting Events: 2nd Saturday of each month.  Always long distance precision.  Sometimes carbine, pistol or shotgun.

Next Monthly Event:  Aug. 14, 2010
Practical long distance, carbine (semi-auto), pistol competition.  (30 rounds each)

This month we'll be training and giving experience to Safety Officers, those that run the stages of fire.  All shooters (or anybody else) are welcome to be trainee or trainer.  I'll bring handouts of range commands, rules, etc.  Our shooting competitions can use different firearms, different scenarios, different shooting skills, so we have to use different range commands for different stages sometimes.  We will go over all this.

Also we'll be fine tuning some of the stages we will be running for the USSS on 9/11.

We have a lot to get through, we probably won't get done till later in the afternoon.

Call me if you have any questions.

Location of events: North Springs Shooting Range, Price Ut.  A five million dollar shooting complex with 100, 600, 1000 yd ranges.  Law Enforcement area of computer controlled turning, tilt up, bobber, running man targets.  Cowboy town and 3D Archery ranges.

Practical, Tactical, Precision: Safety, Mobility, Accuracy and Speed. You and your equipment need to be safe.  Be able to move with the course of fire.  Accuracy is ALWAYS very important and speed can make a difference in score.
